Occupy Avengers is a save the little guy while you save yourself kind of adventure, comedy and road trip all rolled into one with the Master of Disaster himself, Hawkeye/Clint Barton.

Join Hawkeye as he forms a team of misfit powerless heroes. Red Wolf, Tilda Johnson, and 'Wheels' Wolinski who all follow Hawkeye on a personal 'walk about' as he tries to atone for the fact he killed Bruce Banner/The Hulk

In Occupy, we have more of an X-files like situation thrown at us . Well, that would be more accurate if X-Files had a team of black suits going around, laser blasting normal looking everyday citizens in the face.  That's X-Files, right?!?  This takes place over a three year period, multiple times in a sequence of panels all over the United States.

In the here and now, Clint's bad luck is kicking in, so the story can commence. The sweet new van he got from Nick Fury Jr. last issue is broken down already and is being towed to a crappy town in Iowa. Don't get upset Iowans, it's a fertilizer producing town. No one thinks Iowa stinks... (you think they bought it?).

These town folk do not take to kindly to outsiders as our heroes come to find out.
Why are the people perpetually paranoid? Why are the black suits phaser Zablaaasting everyone? I don't know. I am left scratching my Skrull.

Bits and Pieces:

I have been really getting into this Hawkeye Avengers run since it's hilarious. I have enjoyed every issue. The art in this issue, though efficient and effective in its story telling, was a real let down from previous ones. Walta has a comic strip like style to his art that just didn't draw me in to the story as much as I would have liked.
