*Non Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

Let's jump back into Super Sons of Tomorrow story with part 2 here and hopefully get some answers to how Tim Drake of Tomorrow managed to make his way back to our time after Hypertime bitch slapped him back into the future in Detective Comics.  On top of that, let's see how Damian and the Teen Titans will keep Super Boy safe since we now know that Tim has come back to kill Jon Kent before he can do something to destroy Tim's time.  Apparently Batwoman is okay now in his mind, but let's jump into this and see if my boy Kon-El will make his way back into continuity since we found out from our current Tim Drake that he has no idea who Conner is.  Let's check it out.

Explain It!:

Our issue begins with Tim Drake of Tomorrow making his way to Metropolis to get the job of killing Superboy done and over with before Hypertime sends his ass packing, but we see here that Hypertime is a lot like a Green Lantern ring because as it begins to send Tim back to his proper time, our Batman of Tomorrow simply wills it away and continues on his task.  Thankfully though, Superboy had snuck out of Kent home and made his way over to where the Teen Titans were fighting The Hangmen and where our Boy of Steel shows his stuff when he single handedly takes out the villains and saves the young heroes.

Even with pulling the Teen Titan's butts out of the fire, Damian is pissed that Jon came to play because as he's told his fellow Super Son, he's not a part of the Teen Titans.  There isn't much time for arguments though because Tim Drake of Tomorrow makes his presence known to the young team and informs them that he's taken control of Titans Tower and allows Raven to probe his mind so that the team knows that he's there to take out Superboy to stop him from killing millions in the future when apparently our Boy of Steel somehow detonates like a bomb.

In the end, Tim of Tomorrow activates a black goo that shoots Jon and starts wrapping around him and in his emotional state........... he somehow begins glowing like he's going to explode and flies out of the Tower to try and keep everyone safe....... and explodes.  Yeah, I don't know how any of this went down, but as our issue closes it seems that this explosion has taken out a lot of Titans Tower and hurt our heroes.  It has also alerted a trio of people to Tim of Tomorrow's location, where we see that Conner Kent, Cassie Sandsmark and Bart Allen........ or possibly Bar-Torr if we're keeping with New 52 continuity have arrived from the future as well and are looking to take Tim of Tomorrow back where he belongs.

That's it for this issue of Super Sons and our second part of the Super Sons of Tomorrow crossover and while there continues to be a lot of action in this issue like we had in part one with Superman #37, we didn't get any of the answers that I was looking for like how Tim of Tomorrow is back in this time, but we definitely got more questions.  I mean, how and why is Jon suddenly capable of becoming a bomb, why did he go off now as opposed to the future when it was supposed to go down, how did Conner, Cassie and Bart come back in time as well.......... and most importantly........ is this an alternate future that we're dealing with or our actual one, like it seemed to be from Detective Comics?   Yeah, I don't have any answers right now, but like in the first part of this crossover, I'm really intrigued to hopefully find out.  The art in this issue was really decent and besides for a few panels where a couple of characters looked off, I enjoyed everything I saw here....  I just wish the story would spill some of its beans.  Thankfully though, we did get to see Conner Kent here and whether that means he'll be coming back to regular continuity or not, at least I got him here.

Bits and Pieces:

The fights continue in this second part to the Super Sons of Tomorrow arc, but thankfully so does the intrigue.  I just really wish that this story would start throwing some answers our way instead of just making more questions.  The art in this issue is really decent and I'm still really on board with this story, but right now a lot of aspects are leaving me scratching my head.

7/10
