While the story seemed to stall a bit in the previous issue, I'm still all about getting all I can out of the Darkseid War because even when Justice League slips a bit and isn't the best........... It's still the goddamn Justice League and it's almost impossible to make that suck.
I don't know what going to the Crime Syndicate is going to do, since we already saw the League go to them before for answers, with nothing to really show for it, but I am happy as hell to get to see see Super Woman and Ultraman again........ not to mention having Jason Fabok back on the book drawing them.

ReplyDeleteWow, "DARKSEID WAR" sounds intense! With Fabok's art and the Justice League grappling with godhood, it's a must-read. This whole scenario reminds me of the constant power struggles in Fnaf , always someone trying to ascend. The Crime Syndicate's involvement is intriguing. And Grail's secret? I'm hooked! Wonder Woman's world is about to be turned upside down. Can't wait to see what happens next!
ReplyDeleteI remember picking this issue up at my local comic shop! The Darkseid War was such a massive event. While the plot could get convoluted, Fabok's art was consistently amazing. Seeing the Crime Syndicate always added a chaotic element I enjoyed. It's funny, the feeling of being overpowered it gave reminds me of the video game Solar Smash, but with less planet destruction and more existential dread. Good times!
