Granted it was solved with a hand wave but most Swamp Thing stories kind of are with a blah blah blah the green explanation. Art was beautiful fun fight issue 7 out of 10 to me . Trivializing every problem that is fixed in one fell swoop so they could force this guy in? From a refugee as an older Superman with a son and wife, they time jump 5 years, then 10. No problems whatsoever. Then he and wife starts looking younger. Then the world just accepts him this outsider as their Superman no questions asked. Then the JL are all buddy buddy with him. Then his kid is sick to well in one issue. There are no stakes here. Other than DC telling you forget that other guy. This guy we are telling you is the one you have to accept in a rushed and ham fisted way. Good thing Rebirth has good art because I am not sure it has any logic. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
