Steve Orlando is responsible for some really awkward dialogue.

Between this issue and the last two issues of BATMAN & ROBIN ETERNAL I've reached my dollar to (bad) dialogue limit. Even though the book has some great action, interesting concepts (i find the whole idea of the God Garden and Midnighter's history with it pretty compelling) and a helluva cliff-hanger this issue, it's time for me to move on.jacksyatteringhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01567397979563481621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8557726951171561616.post-19471984217820339332015-11-06T05:39:51.542-05:002015-11-06T05:39:51.542-05:00I'm so glad that someone agrees with me...Stev...I'm so glad that someone agrees with me...Steve orlando can't write dialogue...it's just random words strung together at points. Why do other reviewers love this book so much...this issue got two 10/10's this week! Seriously, this is a perfect issue?
If I didn't have to review it, I'd be done. Btw, I think I fell into the "its better than it has been" trap and rated it higher than it deserved, though it has good action and revealJim Wernerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12307419602315578911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8557726951171561616.post-29029172912936847382015-11-06T03:45:57.221-05:002015-11-06T03:45:57.221-05:00Sorry I meant "what words mean". DC gets a bad rap for heavy handed editorial interference but it is hard to see any editorial control here. I read to page 8 and now I have to dump Midnighter off my pull list. If I'm handing over $3 - $4 for 20 pages then the least I expect is something that is written by someone who knows what's words mean! It doesn't have to be a masterpiece but coherent would be nice.Guy Montgomeryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04247086882326273758noreply@blogger.com
