The idea that he thought this was needed by any stretch is mind boggling and so I think it is just what it appears to be...a thrown together collection of vignettes as a cash grab by DC and Bendis taking advantage of the Legion fans. I'm hoping, but these two issues just reaffirm to me that Bendis's notions of good storytelling and mine are not the same.
