I have seen a lot of crazy theories floating around social media about this book.  Some say this book will de-age Jon Kent.  Others say this issue will end with an announcement that Tom King is taking over the Superman book.  I can only guess that these rumors have been whispered down the lane by fans who aren't reading the Dark Crisis Event or any of the issues that lead up to it... or maybe, like Kal-El, they are in their little dream world where wishes do come true!  I'm not here to judge fans, just this issue, so let's get to it!

Dream A Little Dreamer

Art By: Clayton Henry, Marcelo Maiolo, Matt Herms, Dave Sharpe
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: July 12, 2022

For this issue of Superman: Son of Kal-El, we're going to see the introduction of the TV Superhero Dreamer, into the main DC Continuity and it's always fun to have characters jump across mediums, and not only that but they're the ancestor of the Legion of Super-Heroes character, Dream Girl. I just hope that with this introduction it feels like this issue is doing more than meandering around because we've had the Rising threatening our Man of Steel's world for over a year now and for whatever reason it always feels like Jon Kent is standing in place while discovering what kind of Superman he's going to be. Let's jump into this issue and see what this issue holds for us.
