Silencer and Quietus' bodies are still switched, and they've got a massive, raging purple dinosaur monster thing destroying Action Land. I quite liked this issue, so let's get on it!

I quite liked what the team did in terms of layering these massive threats on top of each other, which introduced a lot of stakes into the story that kept me really interesting. The dinosaur creature, the resurrection of Talia, and the predicament that Silencer and Quietus have found themselves in all come together to form a fun and sometimes tense story. The drama that Silencer in particular is going through is really palpable and works very well. I care about her family since Abnett has done a nice job at setting up these characters, and their well-being was something I was thinking about as the story went on.

Thankfully the Freaky Friday situation has come to an end here, and the way it's handled was actually quite surprising and kind of hilarious. I obviously won't spoil it, but it's worth checking out.

Patrick Zircher's art was brilliant. The opening page alone made me heartily chuckle; the way Zircher just thrusts you into this story with that page was very bold considering the stakes the characters have in this situation.

Overall Zircher has been getting better with each issue, which is hard to believe since his art is stupendous. The action scenes, particularly the one where Silencer in Quiteus' body initiates combat with the dinosaur, are simply awesome. This is a fun action book, and thankfully it looks the part.

Bits and Pieces:

I'm genuinely looking forward to the next issue. The ending introduces some wackiness which I'm always down for. The art was fantastic, fun, and vibrant, and the story seems to be getting better.

7.8/10
