New Suicide Squad #16 Review

Sincerely Yours, The Suicide Squad

Written by: Sean Ryan
Art by: Philippe Briones, Blonde and Dave Sharpe
Cover Price: $2.99
Release Date: January 13. 2016

Well, this is the end of Sean Ryan and Philippe Briones' run on New Suicide Squad and I am one unhappy camper.  Actually, I'm always an unhappy camper because I hate camping, but I'm also upset that Ryan and Briones are leaving this book.  The two of them kicked ass and took names and I don't care what anyone says, I know in my heart of hearts that they were screwed out of finishing a story that they deserved to finish.  Sean Ryan focused on character development and took every shitty character thrown at him (Reverse Flash and Joker's Daughter come to mind) and did the unthinkable...made it work and made it work good.  Philipe Briones added his part and made it all look great.  What did they get for their efforts?  A pink slip and the door!  Bullshit!!!  As a fan of DC Comics, I shouldn't be surprised, but I can still be pissed off.  So, I am writing this review in a sour mood, but I won't let that affect things...much.  Was this issue a good send off to one of my favorite creative teams?  Let's find out...

Superman: American Alien #3 Review

Go Shorty, It's Your Birthday

Written by: Max Landis

Art by: Joelle Jones, Rico Renzi and John Workman
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: January 13, 2016

I can't tell you how much Max Landis  and his American Alien book caught me off guard.  When it was announced, it seemed like nonsense and I looked at reviewing it as a chore that I would do for the good of the site.  Then I read the first issue and Landis turned my frown upside down.  Maybe it was partly because of the state of the Superman books at the time, but that would really be selling Landis and this book short because it was friggin' awesome!  We got a cute retelling of Clark's childhood with a hint of darkness creeping just out of reach and I loved every minute of it.  Then, the darkness showed it's face in the second issue and it blew my mind.  I know that doesn't take much, but seriously, it blew my goddamn mind!  So, coming into this issue I had huge expectations and was really unsure if Landis could possibly top his first two issues. Well, did he?  Let's find out...

Top 5 Fridays: Top 5 DC Characters That Need To Return In 2016

Welcome back to another edition of Top 5 Fridays! Whenever I think of the future story lines that will be unfolding in DC, I often look back at characters that could be made into either big bads or allies. A prime example of one of a One-Appearance character turned into a bigger character would be David Graves. We only saw a few panels of him as an unnamed character in the first arc of Justice League, and in the second he was turned into the main villain. Granted we haven't seen him since, but his impact was big nonetheless. However there are actually quite a few One-Appearance characters that instantly are meant to be a big deal, but haven't gone anywhere yet. That is what we'll be going over today! As always, this is my list, so if you don't see something you want/like, I apologize. ENOUGH TALK! Let's begin...

Red Hood/Arsenal #8 Review and *SPOILERS*

Gotham Underground Revisited....... For Some Reason

Written By: Scott Lobdell
Art By: Javier Fernandez, Blond, Dave Sharpe
Cover Price: $2.99
Release Date: January 13, 2016

*Non Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

Alright boys and girls, the Robin War is over and that means that our favorite Robin, who was killed by the Joker can get back to what he was up to before all the hubbub.  Only problem is, as we saw at the end of the previous issue, Arsenal and Joker's Daughter were sucked into the ground by some lava monsters............. yeah, even though I love comic bookery nonsense, this just might be a little too much even for me.  Hopefully I'll be proven wrong though and this issue will rock me like some sort of hurricane.  Let's get into this issue and see what's what and if Jason Todd can get into the Gotham Underground and save his pals.  Let's check it out.

The Legend of Wonder Woman #1 Review - Print Edition

Written by: Renae De Liz
Art by: Renae De Liz and Ray Dillon
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: January 13, 2016

No matter how hard DC Comics tries to stop me, I love their Digital First line of books.  That's why I usually review the digital chapters as they come out rather than the print editions.  That ends now!  Believe me, though, this is in no way me deciding the collected print version is superior than the three individual chapters that make it up...that would be plain silly, right DC?  No, the reason I am putting this together is that this book, The Legend of Wonder Woman, deserves all the exposure it can get.  It really is that good.  So, I'm doing a little collecting myself and giving you the three reviews I've done that cover what you get in issue #1.  If you've already read them, then hopefully you went out and bought the book and if you are checking them out for the first time...just run out and get the book right now.  I will be showing the original scores with each chapter and then a new blurb and aggregate score at the bottom.  And away we go...

Gotham Academy #14 Review and *SPOILERS*

Cover Price: $2.99
Release Date: January 13, 2016

*Non-Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

Gotham Academy fans shuddered a few months ago when solicits and a public farewell from the man himself revealed that artist Karl Kerschl would not be on this book after issue number thirteen. He lent the book a cinematic, cartoonish feel that had become its hallmark. Can we still enjoy the tales of Olive and Maps and the rest of the gang even if the book has a different style? What if it has four different styles? Yes, Gotham Academy has been around for about a year and a half, and that means it’s earned its own clip show. No reminiscing about tales of yesteryear, however, these are all new yarns and anecdotes. Are they worth checking out? Well, if you read on, you’ll find out what I think!

Letters By: Tom Napolitano
Cover Price: $2.99
Release Date: January 13, 2016

*Non-Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

John Constantine will never be a wizened sage. He’ll never sit in the lotus position, emaciated at the top of a mountain, or a chuckling, fat Buddha-type dispensing pithy wisdoms to his attending supplicants. He’s no couch potato, that Constantine, he walks through cities and dimensions and realms and never seems to break his stride. That’s how he keeps such a trim figure, I suppose. I wonder what kind of shoes John wears? Anyway, in this issue John continues his streak of never sitting down and goes clubbing with his pal Papa Midnite. You know, the voodoo priest that hates him? Yeah, that’s who you go clubbing with when you’re John Constantine. Want to see what kind of clubs he goes to? Then read on!

Since when did Christmas fall on January 13th?  What, it's not Christmas?  Someone better tell DC Comics because in the middle of all this Truth Superman and Jim Gordon Batman nonsense, they have delivered a present for all the Man of Steel and Dark Knight fans out there.  A Batman/Superman book written by Tom Taylor featuring the meat and potatoes Batman and Superman!  That seems like what Eric would call a "walk up to the plate home run" and while that isn't a real saying, he may be right.  At the least it should be a fun little diversion during a dark time for both characters.  Well is it?  Let's find out...

It feels good to return to DC Comics’ beloved orange-skinned Balki Bartokomous. I began reading Starfire with the launch of the DCYou, and got about three or four issues into it, then it drifted away from my pull list. I liked it enough, there was no demonstrative “unpull” moment, I just liked some other comic bookz more and…well, these things happen. Over the last few months, I’ve read Eric’s less than glowing reviews of this title and figured I could probably keep on skipping it, but in the back of my mind was a nagging voice that said, “Reggie, you don’t find Kori’s ‘fish outta water’ shtick nearly as grating as Eric, why don’t you give it a look for yourself?” I answered that nagging voice the way I always deal with nagging voices, which is to jam an icepick into my ear. Then just this week, Eric asked if I would review Starfire. Is that serendipity or what? It’s like this comic book and I were meant to be! Will this be a brief romance that burns brightly and then fizzles out, or a sustained relationship that culminates in this comic book and I eating dinner wordlessly while staring daggers at each other, the scrape of our forks against plates the only sound breaking the monotonous tension? Read on to find out!

Earth 2: Society #8 Review and *SPOILERS*

Wonders, Guns and Money

Written By: Dan Abnett
Art By: Jorge Jimenez, Alejandro Sanchez, Travis Lanham
Cover Price: $2.99
Release Date: January 13, 2016

*Non Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

Woah boy has Earth 2 been a wreck since it began.......... well, more accurately, since World's End but with any luck all of that will change here since we have Dan Abnett taking over the title and as anyone who read Masters of The Universe or He-Man: Eternity War will know, Dan Abnett has the ability to write the hell out of a bunch of characters.  Yeah, I'm intrigued and after dealing with Jimmy Olsen becoming Doctor Impossible and quickly getting his god ass beat, I'm all for something new that gets these characters together and hopefully gets us towards something that seems just a little bit more run of the mill........... I know that's a weird thing to say, but we've been dealing with some far out Sci-Fi shit for awhile now and run of the mill sounds awesome right now.  Let's jump into this issue and see what Dan Abnett has in store for us and how our heroes will redeem themselves from their previously awful feel and work together to make a better world and a better comic.  Let's check it out.

Batman and Robin Eternal #15 Review

Super Secret Handshake

Written by: Jackson Lanzing  and Collin Kelly
Art by: Christian Duce, Gabe Eltaeb and Tom Napolitano
Cover Price: $2.99
Release Date: January 13, 2016

After the last couple of issues, I am back on the Batman and Robin Eternal trolley and was really looking forward to this issue for a couple of reasons.  The main reason was to see what happens next, of course, but I was also interested in seeing if Jackson Lanzing  and Collin Kelly could step it up and give fans a better run at it than the last bit they gave us.  If you don’t recall, all I have to say are two words...shark repellant!  I seemed to be alone in my belief that the two threw that out there as a weak attempt to prove that they “got” Batman and while most seemed to get a chuckle at it, I was not amused.  They then went on to give us one of the worst issues of the entire series as if they wanted to prove my hatred was wise in the first place.  I'd thank them for the assist , but what I actually wanted was for them to prove me wrong by giving the suffering fans of this series a kick ass issue.  That didn't happen and we left Azrael, Tim Drake and Jason Todd behind to focus on Dick and Harper...until now.  Lanzing and Kelly are back and they've brought the three with them, plus even more.  Did they continue James Tynion’s upward momentum and redeem themselves in the process?  Let's find out…

Robin War #2 Review and *SPOILERS*

Robin No More

Art By: Khary Randolph, Alvaro Martinez, Raul Fernandez, Carmine Di Giandomenico, Steve Pugh, Scott McDaniel, Andy Owens, Chris Sotomayor, Emilio Lopez, Mat Lopes, Tom Napolitano
Cover Price: $4.99
Release Date: January 13, 2016

*Non Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

Our Robin War has seen some ups and downs....... and lately it's just been downs but that could all change here with our final chapter to this event and boy I hope that's the case because Robin....... it doesn't matter which one is rocking the "R", it's Robin that I care about past or present and I'd been begging for an event like this for a long time now.  It's over with this though and while I really enjoyed the beginning of this story, I can't say that the last few chapters have really grabbed me the way I had hoped.  Leading us up to this issue, we saw Dick Grayson confront Lincoln March while the rest of our Robins were taking on Elite Talons, birthed from that big ass heart thing at the end of the original Contra game and Damian Wayne breaking our hearts and becoming an owl....... and that was just last issue....... that's some shit right there.  Okay, let's jump into this finale and see if it can make everything worthwhile and allow me to have the Robin event that I was begging for.  Let's check it out.

Arrow: The Dark Archer #1 Review and *SPOILERS*

All the World Loves an Arrogant Prick

Written By: John Barrowman and Carol E. Barrowman
Art By: Daniel Sampere, Juan Albarran, Kyle Ritter
Letters By: The Unknown Letterer
Cover Price: $0.99
Release Date: January 13, 2016

*Non Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

If you’re like me, you had a terrible holiday season. Yes, it was nice to see friends and family, I enjoyed giving and getting gifts and eating lavish feasts with my loved ones. But Arrow was on hiatus the whole time, left on a pretty dire cliffhanger that would be considered cruelty had I not elected to watch the show of my own free will. Well John “Malcolm Merlyn” Barrowman and his sister Carole have helped to ease the pain of withdrawals, and while Arrow returns only a week from today, I still welcome the digital dosage. Eric was going to review this comic, but he took the tablet into the bathroom for three hours and all he was able to talk about afterward is the cover shown above. So it’s left to me to review this Arrow tidbit, and you’ll find I have if you read on!

Green Lantern Corps: Edge of Oblivion #1 Review and *SPOILERS*

Lost and Found

Written By: Tom Taylor
Art By: Ethan Van Sciver, Jason Wright, Dave Sharpe
Cover Price: $2.99

Release Date: January 13, 2016

*Non Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

So our Green Lantern Corps have upped the ante by getting rid of their Lost Army moniker and replaced it with "Edge of Oblivion"....... which just sounds immediately more bad ass. To catch everyone up, we saw our Corps take on light pirates, who were trying to preserve their power in this dying Universe by siphoning off whoever had a little light left shining.  After it was all said and done, our band of Lanterns met up with a bunch of their Corpsmen fighting their own battle of survival, but at the end of this one, things went and got weird when a handful of Lanterns were converted to different spectrums and Mogo became able to rock all of them.  The final issue to Lost Army was fun and exciting, but for the most part the series was lackluster.  Hopefully this mini-series will right it's path and our Lanterns will find a way home after John Stewart witnessed Hal Jordan closing the gate to them by fixing the rift within the Source Wall.  Let's jump into this issue and see what Tom Taylor has to say about our Lantern heroes and what he has planned for us.  Let's check it out.

Robin: Son of Batman #7 Review and *SPOILERS*

Fledgling Talon

Written By: Patrick Gleason, Ray Fawkes
Art By: Scott McDaniel, Andy Owens, Chris Sotomayor, Tom Napolitano
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: December 23, 2015

*Non Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

Better late than never, that's what I always say....... at least that's what I always say when i have reviews that are late as hell like this one.  With the second issue of Robin War coming up, I figured I'd better get off my duff and put this up so that I don't get called out later on.  In the previous chapter to the Robin War, we saw our Robins take on the Talons keeping them in their cage after Tim and Jason display a strange but clever ruse, but it's a out of the frying pan and into the fire situation when we find out that a group of Elite Talons were waiting on the roof for our heroes........ so don't break out the pinatas and RC Cola just yet.  Also in that issue, Jim Gordon and Dick Grayson discovered that Council Woman Noctura is working with the Court of the Owls and I'm left wondering why no one cares about that street Robin Travis, who shot the cop and who was eventually gutted by a Talon at the end of the first issue of Robin War.......... I just thought it was going to have a bigger impact........ still wondering though.  Okay, let's jump into this issue and see what Damian's title has in store for us with this event.  Let's check it out.

Detective Comics #48 Review

The Thigh Bone's Connected...

Written by: Peter J. Tomasi
Art by: Fernando Pasarin, Matt Ryan, Chris Sotomayor and Wes Abbott
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: January 6, 2016

I was thrilled when it was announced that Peter J. Tomasi was jumping on Detective Comics.  I can never get enough Tomasi and It's my belief that only a couple of writers at DC get Batman more than him.  Of course, this is the Jim Gordon Batman, but that only made we more excited to see what he would bring to the character and this book.  Well, thanks to DC’s poor planning and insistence on a Robin War crossover, Tomasi’s first arc was shredded down from six issues to two and it showed.  Obviously, I don't blame him at all and actually commend him for cobbling together a story that may not have been great, but in the end was at least fun.  However, I am here to announce that Detective Comics is the official unofficial (I’ve heard that somewhere before) start of Tomasi’s run on Detective Comics.  So, did he started off with a bang?  Let’s find out….

An all-new era of GOTHAM ACADEMY begins here with the four-issue “Gotham Academy Yearbook” story! It’s yearbook time at Gotham Academy, and Olive, Maps and the gang share some lost adventures from the past year. Some of the best writers and artists from comics and beyond join forces with the creative team behind Gotham City’s top boarding school for this very special new chapter.

Gotham Academy got caught up in all the Robin War hubbub last month and now it's coming back with the first issue of the "Gotham Academy Yearbook" story.  I hope that Map's has better luck getting her yearbook signed than I did back in junior high.  All the kids needed to do was write "See you next year" or "Have a great summer", is that so hard?!?  I made those pecan sandies for everyone and that didn't even help.  Now I'm sad.

The Weird Side #2

You Left Your Pudding Pop in My Mom!

Green Lantern Corps: Edge of Oblivion #1 Preview

Written By: Tom Taylor
Art By: Ethan Van Sciver
Cover Price: $2.99
Release Date: January 13, 2016

Picking up where GREEN LANTERN: LOST ARMY left off! As the universe around them reaches entropy, the Green Lantern Corps must find a way home! Along the way, they’ll face dying gods, worlds torn asunder and a desperate group of survivors whose only hope is these cosmic heroes.

I was not a fan of Lost Army, but with Tom Taylor back at DC, I have full faith in him to make this something worth reading and making the Corps' disappearance into the Universe that existed before their own a thing that will be spectacular.  Plus, it never hurts to have Ethan Van Sciver on a book........ dude's a damn wizard with his pencils.

Catwoman #48 Preview

Written by: Frank Tieri
Art by: Inaki Miranda
Cover Price: $2.99
Release Date: January 12, 2016

In New York City and framed for a murder she did not commit, Catwoman is now on the run! And to uncover whoever is out to get her, she’ll have to ask for help from some unlikely—and untrustworthy—sources. Her hunt to uncover the truth may end up putting her in the sights of more than just the NYPD!

Frank Tieri started his run on Catwoman last month and I really enjoyed it.  He eased fans into his story and it all made sense with everything that has happened in Selina's world.  She has quickly went from running a crime family to be a wanted woman, but we all know it was a setup...right?  Right?!?  I can't wait to see what Tieri has in store for us and where the series is going from here.

Cover Price: $4.99
Release Date: December 30, 2015

Didn't I just review this like two weeks ago?
Last time we left the group, Batman, Joker and their new friend Nina  arrived in Prague but she soon gets captured by clockwork robots. Before Batman can find anything about what happened, he fights a giant one on a bridge while the still unnamed mastermind escapes in the direction of the city of lights...Paris.

While the art was good, it couldn't save the fact that I was bored and felt like absolutely nothing was accomplished. This was the middle of the story, and we don't know the origins of the virus, the villain, why he aimed for both Batman and Joker etc. We are now on issue 3 of 4 and we have another artist switch as Batman and the Joker arrive in Paris to save Nina. Will they find Nina in time before the disease takes them? Lets find out...

The Creature Commandos – Weird Comic Bookery

More Pathos Than Horror

They say that war is hell, and if (as Pat Benatar said) hell is for children, then war is for children. And what do children like more than analogues of classic Universal movie monsters? Nothing, that’s what! Kids today continue to thrill to the 1950s versions of the vampire Dracula and Frankenstein’s monster, still gasp at the sight of the Wolfman while they ride their Schwinn Phantoms around with baseball cards in the wheels’ spokes to simulate the puttering of a motorcycle as they turn. Yes, fun is yet to be had at the Candy Shoppe where a skilled soda jerk can…what’s that? You don’t know what the fuck I’m talking about? No, you are a doddering old fool living in the past! Why, I’ll have you know that versions of the Universal movie monsters were in a comic book as recently as 1980! What?! That was over thirty-five years ago?! I think I need a drink. Read on while I sit and wonder what the hell I’ve been doing for the last several decades.

Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year Five #4 Review

Is It Cold In Here...

Written by: Brian Buccellato
Art by: Mike S. Miller, J. Nanjan and Wes Abbott
Cover Price: $0.99
Release Date: January 11, 2016

Year Five of Injustice may only have just begun, but I'm already fully invested in what Brian Buccellato is giving fans of the series.  This "Year of the Villains" is definitely giving readers that old Injustice feel and I'm so glad that we are back to anticipating who will show up and possibly die each week.  The first three chapters did a good job of setting the stage for what's to come so I couldn't wait to see...what's to come.  Did this chapter jump into the deep end of the Injustice pool or is Buccellato still dipping his toe in the water, waiting for a later time to dive in?  Let's find out...

Starfire #8 Preview

Written By: Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti
Art By: Emanuela Lupacchino, Ray McCarthy, Hi-Fi
Cover Price: $2.99
Release Date: January 13, 2016

Is Dick Grayson here to stay? Starfire has tackled some big threats during her stay in Key West—from hurricanes to intergalactic bounty hunters, from insane murderers to gargantuan monsters from the deep and everything in between. But our hero’s biggest challenge may be choosing between an ex and a new love interest.

Oh drama!  I haven't been this series' biggest supporter, but I really enjoyed last issue and its inclusion of Grayson, so I hope that the fun continues and the misunderstandings are at a minimum.

Earth 2: Society #8 Preview

A bold new era begins on Earth-2! The heroes have decided to take leadership roles in this still-rebuilding world. But power soon becomes absolute power, and the people of Earth-2 quickly discover they’ve trusted in the wrong heroes!

I haven't been a fan of the Earth 2 series since World's End began, but with Dan Abnett taking over the series with this issue, there just might be a glimmer of hope in this being something that I could really get into again.  Here's hoping!

The Legend of Wonder Woman #7 Review

I'd Rather Be Fishing

Written by: Renae De Liz
Art by: Renae De Liz and Ray Dillon
Cover Price: $0.99
Release Date: January 11, 2016

With the first print issue of The Legend of Wonder Woman on the horizon, I figured I better get off my duff and catch up on the Digital First series.  It is one of my favorite books out right now and my lack of reviews has nothing to do with the quality of the book at all.  I'd love to blame it on the recent holidays and our wise decision to record a 4 plus hour podcast each week, but that's not the reason either.  The reason is my laziness and that ends now!  Maybe.  However, I vow to catch up with this book and that's a promise that's very easy to keep as, like I said, it is one of my favorites coming out these days.  So, enough talk about my inherent character flaws, lets' get on with my review for The Legend Wonder Woman #7.

Weird Science DC Comics Podcast Episode 53: Big Eric's House

Eric and Jim are back again and this week they've brought a boatload of nonsense.  Jim's throat is killing him and Eric wants to tickle butt holes, but besides that, everything is fine.  The guys talk about all the DC Comics books released this week, yell at each other and stay up way too late recording.  Enjoy!

Batman & Robin: Eternal #15 Preview

Written by: Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing
Art by: Christian Duce Fernandez
Cover Price: $2.99
Release Date: January 13, 2016

Preview via: Adventures In Poor Taste

Grayson, Red Hood, Red Robin and Harper Row have uncovered the full scope of Mother’s dangerous operation, and they’re ready to spring their trap! But there’s one problem: Cassandra Cain has gone rogue, and they may not be able to pull her back from the edge! There’s no time to lose, either, because for every mystery they solve about Mother, there are more waiting to be discovered, including Mother’s next target, a place that couldn’t be more personal to Dick Grayson!

I have really enjoyed the last two issues of Eternal and I have my fingers crossed that will continue this week.  James Tynion has set the table for the other writers in the series to give fans a strong finish so let's hope they are up to the task.  It looks like we are heading back to St. Dumas this week and that has me torn a bit...I really want to see what Tim Drake and Jason Todd are doing, but the last bits that we did see we're not my favorite.  I'm not a fortune teller (I leave that job to Mumbo Jimbo) so I will wait and see and keep cautiously optimistic.

They Came From Outer Space Episode #1 Review and *SPOILERS*—Just For the Hell Of It Mondays

Hi, Hello, How Are You?

Created By: Tom McLoughlin
Directed By: Sidney Hayers
Starring: Dean Cameron and Stuart Fratkin
First Televised: October 9, 1990

*Non-Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

Welcome to a very special edition of Just For the Hell Of It Mondays, specially crafted for a young feller who simultaneously comprises part of the ownership and target audience for this website. Last week, Weird Science DC Comics Blog Dot Blogspot Dot Com’s own Eric “Your Imaginext Friend” Shea reminded me of a television program that my brother and I watched when I was but a tender teenager, a show so silly and stupid that the sheer joyful memory of it is a regrettable waste of brain cells. I looked online for information and snippets of this wonderful show, but found the Internet, for once, lacking—and so I hope to remedy that and begin the deluge of information definitely forthcoming about They Came From Outer Space, a television program about two aliens who skip going to university so they can hang out in Los Angeles and scam women, with my review of the pilot episode. Little Eric Shea, this one is for you!

The Legend Of Wonder Woman #1 Preview

Written by: Renae De Liz

Cover Price: $3.99
Release Release: January 13, 2016

A new WONDER WOMAN 9-issue miniseries begins here with a story written and pencilled by Renae De Liz (The Last Unicorn)! In the beginning there was only chaos. But Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons, saw a better future—and eventually, her daughter would be destined to bring that new world to life! Before her ultimate fate unfolds, though, Diana of Themyscira must learn the important lessons of an Amazonian childhood!

If you've read my reviews of the Digital First chapters that make up this print edition, you already know how much I love this series.  If you haven't...I love this series!  Renae De Liz and Ray Dillon have crafted a story that reads and looks like a classic fairytale and I really can't recommend it enough.  At the risk of sounding like I have the boring job of a publicist, The Legend Of Wonder Woman is an all ages book of the best kind...a story that can be enjoyed by kids, adults and everyone in between.  Plus, it has the cutest little Diana I have ever seen in comics.
