*Non Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

Last we visited the Batman title, we had just gotten a brand new story underway in which Ghost-Maker, a villain whose backstory is tied with Batman’s has arrived in Gotham and begun his own war on crime. Now, in the last issue, I voiced some concerns that I had about this book going forward as there are a lot of things that this story has to explain about Ghost-Maker in order to make sense. I wasn’t sure that this team was up for the challenge but I wasn’t going to hold it against them and I still don’t plan to. However, now we move on to this current issue and hopefully it will progress in a way that satisfies the reader and gives us the explanations we need while also being fun and entertaining. However, we will not know about that until we move forward so without further ado, let’s jump into this latest issue.

Aquaman #65 Review

Writer: Kelly Sue DeConnick
Artist: Miguel Mendonca
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: November 18, 2020

I am sad to see Kelly Sue Deconnick's run on Aquaman come to an end.  I have enjoyed her take on Arthur, but have that nagging feeling that we could have gotten so much more.  Still, she has given us baby Andy and maybe even more by the end of this issue.  I will stop hinting at stuff and get to my review of Aquaman #65!

Nightwing #76 Review

Writer: Dan Jurgens
Artist: Ronan Cliquet
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: November 18, 2020

Nightwing may go down as one of the most frustrating books of this era.  Fans didn't even get the character for over two years, instead they got Ric, then Gray Son, and then Dicky Boy.  Dicky Boy!!!!!  Well, Nightwing is back, but there hasn't been that significant moment in his solo book for me to point to and shake my head yes.  So we get it in Nightwing #76?  Well...

Dark Nights: Death Metal #5 Review

Think Small

Writer: Scott Snyder
Artist: Greg Capullo
Cover Price: $4.99
Release Date: November 18, 2020

Death Metal has been a very polarizing story, and while people argue about it, I have been sitting in the middle, hoping there is a light at the end of the tunnel that gives us better books.  Yea, I know Scott Snyder can't do that all by himself, but he can set up the foundation for it, and the "everything matters" slogan seems like a good start.  I still want a good story, mind you, and that's why I am here to review this issue.  So, is Dark Nights: Death Metal #5 good?  Let's find out...

Teen Titans #47 Review

Fighting Towards The Future

Written By: Robbie Thompson
Art By: Javi Fernandez, Marcelo Maiolo, Rob Leigh
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: November 17, 2020

It's the final issue of the Teen Titans...... for now since they'll have Endless Winter and Future State issues for the next bunch of months, but this team, this iteration of the kids that never really got the chance to shine are done for now and it's time to see if they can complete their unfinished business with bringing in all the villains that are out and about, who they previously mind-wiped after incarcerating them in the Teen Titans dungeon..... Okay, there were a lot of problems with this series and our characters, but even with some dark turns, they deserve the chance at redemption and being the heroes we all know they can be. With the villain Joystick being the last baddie that they need to bring in it's time to see if our heroes are up to the task, especially since Joystick has found them first. Let's jump into this issue and check out this finale.

Justice League #57 Review

Things and Stuff

Written By: Joshua Williamson
Art By: Xermanico, Romulo Fajardo Jr., Tom Napolitano
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: November 17, 2020

It's time to finish this Death Metal tie-in arc and see what our Justice League of this new twisted world were actually able to accomplish. In our previous issue, we saw our team not only free the captured Legion of Doom members but also take out Perpetua's throne and destroy its guardian, the Omega Knight. That's a hell of a workday, but it looks like they're about to get some overtime forced on them because it looked like now that the Legion of Doom were free, they were looking to kick a little ass and take some names, and sadly, our heroes were the only ones around. Let's jump into this issue and see if we all can't just get along.

Rorschach #2 Review
