Art By: Mike Perkins, Gabe Eltaeb, Simon Bowland
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: February 5, 2020

Let's head on back to the conspiracy filled world of Lois Lane as a hit has been taken out on our intrepid reporter for information she may or may not know...... which I'm not sure we'll ever get back to, but previously we saw an assassin called the Kiss of Death go after Lois, where it looked like her and Renee Montoya were blown up in Lois' hotel room.  Let's jump back into this issue and see if things become clearer or if the book continues to go on tangents that will take us further and further from whatever the main plot is supposed to be at this point.  Le's check it out.

Young Justice #13 Review

Art By: Michael Avon Oeming, Mike Grell, John Timms, Gabe Eltaeb, Wes Abbott
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: February 5, 2020

It's time to see the Young Justice take down Dr. Glory and her corruption of STAR Labs..... since that's what it seemed like we were going to do at the end of last issue, where Miguel and Summer from Dial H For Hero, the Wonder Twins and Naomi decided to join our young heroes in their quest.  Too bad that Superboy found himself in Skartaris after Dr. Glory teleported him away so I guess we're going to have to wait to learn more about where this Conner Kent has been and how anybody in Young Justice remembers their time together.  Let's jump into this issue and see if Brian Michael Bendis can move this story forward in a worthwhile manner.  Let's check it out.

Batman #88 Review and *SPOILERS*

Hello, Is It Me You’re Looking For?

Written By: James Tynion IV
Art By: Guillem March, Tomeu Morey
Letters By: Clayton Cowles
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: February 5, 2020

*Non Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

Tynion’s first story is now in full swing and we’ve had some good parts and some less ideal parts. We’ve gotten some really cool action and new gadgets which is something that I personally love to see from a Batman comic but it seems like Tynion wants to tell a story that needs a lot of set up and that has unfortunately led to an exuberant amount of exposition in the previous issue. Now exposition isn’t the worse thing in the world but it heavily dominated the previous issue. However, as much as I’m harping on this one point, the fact is that I still really enjoyed the previous issue and I’m really looking forward to this one as well. Tynion’s run has just started and so there is a possibility that I’m still excited to play with my brand new toy, however only time will tell if that excitement is warranted or not. So, let’s jump into this latest issue and see where it takes us.

Justice League #40 Review

Daxamite Be A Problem

Written By: Robert Venditti
Art By: Doug Mahnke, Richard Friend, David Baron, Tom Napolitano
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: February 5, 2020

The Justice League is back!..... The only problem is, we have no idea how, why or when this run of Robert Venditti's is taking place after our heroes were blinked away by the Quintessence at the end of the Justice/Doom War, where we saw them make one final run for victory against Perpetua.  Yeah, it looks like we're going to have to wait for that story until the summer event, but right now we have a back to basics Justice League book and it's time to jump into it and see what Robert Venditti plans on doing in the interim to entertain us and show us just how great our heroes are.  Let's jump into this issue and check it out.
