It's been a while, but DC Comics are slowing coming back, and hopefully, a book like Batman and the Outsiders will benefit from the sparse release schedule that we are starting with here.  It felt like Bryan Hill was finally able to get to his own story after finishing up the Year of the Villain stuff and then... Shutdown!  Well, we are back and maybe the time off has given people time to catch up on the series and we can all hit the ground running.  So, does Bryan Hill, Dexter Soy, and the Outsiders team fly out of the gates with issue #12?  Let's find out...

Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: May 5, 2020

It's time to get back to our regularly scheduled comics after a short hiatus and with that, back to the grand adventures of our Winged Warrior, Hawkman.  When last we left our constantly resurrecting renaissance man, he was infected by the Batman Who Laughs, where he became the evil Sky Tyrant.  If that wasn't enough, he planned on using an ancient key to some catastrophic weapon that would obliterate all life in the universe, thus, allowing him to never pay back his life debt, which would allow him to continue resurrecting forever.  Thankfully, Adam Strange, Ray Palmer and Hawkwoman were there to stop him, but at the end of the last issue, Hawkwoman and Sky Tyrant were teleported away by the ancient key of doom.  Let's jump into this issue and see what is next for our hero.  Let's check it out.

The Flash #753 Review and *SPOILERS*

A New Challenger Approaches

Written By: Joshua Williamson
Art By: Howard Porter, Brandon Peterson, Hi-Fi
Letters By: Steve Wands
Cover Price: $3.99

*Non Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

The most recent storyline with the Flash has been horribly disappointing. We’ve been introduced to a brand new villain in Paradox but almost everything about him feels unimportant and when a story revolves around the actions of a villain, then it is important to make that villain interesting. That hasn’t been the case thus far. However, while the villain is certainly lacking in development, his strength has been focused on and has now backed The Flash into a corner in which his only option is to track down his most notorious enemy Reverse-Flash and ask him for his help. I’m interested to see where this issue takes us, especially considering how long it has been since we had a new entry due to everything going on right now. Once again, I want to reiterate that I hope our readers are doing well and being safe. With all of that out of the way, let’s jump into the latest issue and see where it takes us.
