Future State hasn't been kind to Kara so far, but maybe being Superwoman will buck the trend. I mean, it's not like she's going to be stuck in a Moon Colony with a shapeshifting alien who can steal her powers and is on the run from her power-hungry relatives, right? Oh no...
Bits and Pieces:
While everything is up for grabs in the potential future of Future State, Marguerite Bennett doesn't seem like she has a grip on the character of Kara and the result is something fans and new readers alike will likely have issues with. The art by Marguerite Sauvage is good, but the story it is helping to tell is not. Hopefully, things turn around for the better next month, but right now, this is my least favorite Future State issue so far.
