While Scott Snyder's return to DC Comics is exciting, the question of whether he can single-handedly "save" the entire publisher is complex. His reputation for compelling storytelling certainly brings a renewed buzz, but the broader landscape of DC's future involves more than just one writer. Think of it like trying to beat Granny's house on the first try – difficult, but not impossible with the right strategy and a bit of luck.
