I have seen a lot of crazy theories floating around social media about this book.  Some say this book will de-age Jon Kent.  Others say this issue will end with an announcement that Tom King is taking over the Superman book.  I can only guess that these rumors have been whispered down the lane by fans who aren't reading the Dark Crisis Event or any of the issues that lead up to it... or maybe, like Kal-El, they are in their little dream world where wishes do come true!  I'm not here to judge fans, just this issue, so let's get to it!

I just hope that with this introduction it feels like this issue is doing more than meandering around because we've had the Rising threatening our Man of Steel's world for over a year now and for whatever reason it always feels like Jon Kent is standing in place while discovering what kind of Superman he's going to be. While people were falling we also had people coming together as Jon Kent went around and tried to form a new Justice League, after the death of his father's team and while he succeeded, what we got was one of the craziest JL teams I've ever seen.
