Weird Science News: March 5, 2014 Edition

Hello and welcome to the news.  If anyone is doing their homework they noticed that there was no Weird Science News last week.  Was I sick? No.  Did I go on a road trip to Reno? Almost.  Was I just too damn lazy and slept all day? Bingo.  So, for those who missed last weeks big stories, here they are: 3D covers return in September, Infinite Crisis becomes a weekly in May, JLU's Cree character design revealed, and Flash's TV costume revealed.  Now that we are up to speed...

On With the News

How Many People are in Flash?

Seriously, there are already 162 characters cast in the upcoming pilot. Well, make that 163.  Veteran actor, Patrick Sabongui.  You probably know him for his great portrayal of inmate #1 in the TV movie, Redeemer. Bravo.  In Flash he will portray Captain Singh.  Not as meaty a role as inmate #1,  but not every role is gold.

Green Lantern: The Animated Series hits Blu-Ray

Yes, the series that failed because it's tie-in toys didn't sell will be available on Blu-Ray on March 18, 2014.  The shows animation style was polarizing and while I wasn't a huge fan at first, the more I watched the more I liked.  My favorite character...Razer.  All 26 episodes are included, but at the price of $29.99, you may want to wait a bit for a price drop.  What can I say, I'm cheap.  Cheap, but not easy.  Ok, I'm easy too.

Bleeding Cool Spoils Future's End

If you hate spoilers, look away or your nazi face will melt.

Now that that's over with, Bleeding Cool received a photo from the writers of Future's End.  It was a prank Here is the full story at Bleeding cool.
as to what is being considered for the upcoming DC event.  It wasn't very funny, but what was hilarious is that they accidental sent some real info as well.  It's all fun and games until you spoil the role of Batman Beyond in the Future's End event.

Arkham Knight coming in October

Rocksteady Games announced the new Batman game as well as releasing a trailer.  It looks so awesome and blew Eric's mind.  The only bad news, it's only for next gen consoles.  That sucks.  I have been talking with Eric all week about it and we both will be working some OT to afford the next gen console of out choice.  I will be getting a PS4 because I already subscribe to PS Plus and am hoping for a new Lair and Haze game.  Eric is going Xbox One, but is scared the kinect will watch him all the time.  I'm sure it will give that up after days of seeing Eric lying naked, watching Gilmore Girls and crying himself to sleep.  Here is our original article with the trailer.  The game hits shelves on October 15, 2014.

Another Week, Another News.  Now, back to playing Haze.
