There has been a lot of talk about what Tom Taylor has in store for Nightwing fans in issue #100. But, we can't just forget issue #99, right?!? So, to make things big this month, we get Tony Zucco and I say "big", but that's huge... Especially with Melinda Zucco in the mix! So, what happens when Dick comes face-to-face with his parents' killer? Let's find out...

Bits and Pieces:

Nightwing #99 is one of those issues where you like almost everything in it, but are upset that there wasn't more. Usually, you only have to wait until the next issue to continue the fun, but Tom Taylor seems to like dangling things out there for a while (Cough Cough Heartless Cough Cough). Still, Bruno Redondo's art is top-notch as always and anytime Tony Zucco shows up in a Dick Grayson book, it's must-read for fans of the character.

  1. So does this mean that in current continuity Tony Zucco was never tried for the murder of Dick's parents? I assume this is the case since Melinda mentioned the GCPD is reopening the case which they couldn't do if he was tried and acquitted or already convicted. 🤔 So what was he in jail for? Obviously not the murder of Dick's parents. And I'm guessing that New52 where he faked his death is no longer canon either?

    1. And apparently Zucco's gotten away with murdering the Graysons for almost two decades and Dick never said anything about this?

  2. Also it didn't take that Quartermaster guy long to recover from having his eye shot out.
