Just For The Hell Of It Mondays: Kingdom Come

Jim and I have been talking lately about the state of the DC Universe, and how it will translate into films.  One of the interviews we read talked about how after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the next flick might not have any continuity to the last flick, and might not even have Ben Affleck as Batman.  While I know that pisses a lot of people including myself off, we just have to face it that DC flicks will never be Marvel.  Marvel did their thing, and it worked out in spades, but what Marvel will never do is have the amazing animated movies that DC has.  So what do we do?  Do we just accept that Marvel's continued
continuity of their filmverse is superior, and just wait for the next DC animated flick to come out, because it will be awesome?  I look at a lot of fan films on Youtube, and I watch every superhero flick that comes out, and after thinking about it this weekend, I eventually said fuck it.  We have so many rich stories from DC that we really don't need a straight timeline, or even the same universe for each flick that comes out.  We can have a Gotham by Gaslight movie, Batman Beyond movie, hell we could even have a Earth-C Captain Carrot and the Zoo Crew movie, not that any of these would probably be box office hits, but we could still have them, and as long as the people in Hollywood Land do their job, we'd be happy as hell with what we get.  So I sat and I thought to myself, what Elseworld's movie would I like to see, and that brings us to a fan trailer for what would be a awesome live action flick.  So sit back and enjoy Kingdom Come from AListProductions Youtube channel.

What Elseworlds stories would you like to see be turned into a live action flick?  Leave a comment below, and let's all hope that DC can pull of a filmverse, we as fans can all be proud of.  See you in seven.  Boosh!
