The Beginning Of The End.  A.K.A. Marriage

Agent Orange's last foray took us back to the planet Sorrow, or Larfleezia, I guess it really matters who you ask.  But what Larfleeze doesn't know is that the House of Tuath-Dan has created a trap for him, and that the robot people of this planet called G'Nort for help, or the closet thing that G'Nort can offer.  For a little bit of drama during this conflict we have The Wanderer pledging her love and loins to a Larfleeze who just don't have time for that.  If you're wondering why anybody would pledge their loins to Larfleeze, it's a ancient pledge kind of thing, you would't understand.  So that brings us up to speed, let's see what the Orange Monkey has in store for us this month.

Explain It!:

This could quite possibly be the shortest "Explain It!:" ever, and I'm not saying that as a bad thing, it's just mostly a gigantic battle between Larfleeze, House of Tuath-Dan, and G'Nort, with people switching allegiances throughout the fight.  So here we go.

Wanderer is all love struck for Larfleeze and won't have her abusive family killing the... well the thing she loves; she also won't tolerate G'Nort trying to lock him up either, so it looks like Larfleeze has a god in his corner.  Stargrave is trying to talk some sense into her, but love is a fickle thing, and all Wanderers plans involve her, Larfleeze, and Stargrave being a happy little family.  Yeah this extra-dimensional god has totally flipped her shit.

Meanwhile when G'Nort finally seems to apprehend Larfleeze he tells him how the people of Larfleezia gave him the planet to show their gratitude, and I don't know what kind of intergalactic laws the Corps follows, but after talking to the robot people that collaborate Larfleeze's story... kinda, G'Nort is willing to give the planet to Larfleeze, and lock up the robot people for calling him under false pretenses.  How the hell is G'Nort still alive, and causing me aggravation?

In the end G'Nort tells the robot people that he'll let them off with a warning, and Larfleeze and him decide to have a weird weird team-up to stop these destructive gods, and put them in their place once and for all.  Oh and Wanderer is still is offering her loins up.  This is it now, we only have one more issue of Larfleeze, and his very short series run, so make sure you're here next month to see the ultimate fate of Larfleeze and his first solo title.

Bits and Pieces:

There is a lot going on in this issue, but not in a over complicated boring way, it's more of a all out "Kill The Orange Monkey" kind of way.  So yeah Giffen and DeMatteis are really hyping up the final issue here, and for a guy that really didn't enjoy the first half of this series I find myself on the Orange band wagon wanting to see where we'll ultimately end up.  So make sure you don't miss any of the fun before it's gone and join me on this greedy cartoony romp we call Larfleeze.  Go check it out.

7.5/10
