The Army of Choshin is storming the gates of K'un-Lun trying to lay claim to their long-estranged city. Iron Fist and Sabertooth are hot on their tails though. Will the devastating duo be enough to repel the advances of a hoard that has been waiting a century for this opportunity? Join me and find out.

Iron Fist stands in horror at the sight of the army crossing the bridge to K'un-Lun, but doesn't hesitate long before diving into the fray. Sabertooth quickly joins him in the calamity.

Inside the once Great City of K'un-Lun, Choshin remarks on how far the city has fallen and revels in his delusion of altruism. Believing he is the savor and leader this city needs to rise once again. Saying, "these people should be begging them to assume leadership."

It's his bad luck that this city already has its leader and she is Sparrow. A relatively new character that I know virtually nothing about, but after I see how well she holds her own in this fight I look forward to learning more. What Brisson tells me about this character is plenty to go off for now though. Sparrow is the new Yu-Ti, which is the name given to the leader of K'un-Lun, she is also blind and knows Kung-Fu. In this bloody battle that is enough information for me.

We jump back to Iron Fist battling his way into the city looking for Choshin. When it looks like we are going to get a rematch between the Iron Fist and Eel of Blessed Waters Sabertooth jumps in and breaks up the fight by breaking Eel's neck in a hilarious display of gratuitous violence. When Fist tries to express is displeasure to Sabertooth, claiming they agreed on no killing, Sabertooth coldly disregards his assumption with the facts. HE NEVER agrees to that also pointing out to Fist, K'un-Lun citizens are dying this is no time to have a fight with a C lister.

Next, we get some more epic fight scenes from the art team giving us a brutal fight between Sparrow and Choshin showing that she is more than a match for Choshin and that she will never give up.

We flip back to Sabertooth and Iron Fist as they come across Rat of 12 Plagues doing his eat people and get them deathly ill thing. Which tips Sabertooth off to the fact that this is the creature that is responsible for the death of the new Constrictor who was the child of the old Constrictor. The old Constrictor being Sabertooth's friend and all are the cruxes of the reason why Sabertooth is here fighting side by side with Iron Fist in the first place. With that said Sabertooth announces Rat is all his and with his healing factor he doesn't foresee it being much of a problem for him. Sabertooth tells Fist to go protect his temple while he protects its people from Rat.

Danny Busts into the temple and disrupts the fight between Choshin and Sparrow. Almost making Sparrow lose the fight. Sparrow the ruler of K'un-Lun orders its warrior to stand down, Choshin is hers to fight. She tells him to deal with the rest of the mess he allowed into the city.

Desperate and outnumbered Iron Fist thinks on his feet and beats up the Choshin lackey holding the Book of the Iron Fist. He takes the book and runs away?!?! What Now!

Bits and Pieces:

It's broken record time. Because, yet again I am screaming from the top of the hills how much I love this comic! Brisson, Perkins, Troy, and Lanham thank you for giving me a book I'm consistently excited for every time it comes out. Perkins when he draws a battle scene you literally feel exhausted as if you were in the battle yourself with the number of panels he is able to cram on a page. Brisson's fast-paced and high-intensity scripts are exactly what this comic buyer wants in his comics.

10/10
