The Silencer remains the top book among the New Age of DC Heroes crop. This issue was a lot of fun, but I'd prefer to have a faster-paced story rather than an issue focusing on this odd detour.
Following last issue's cliffhanger, Honor and Quietus have switched bodies and are at odds. In an attempt to solve their current predicament, they engage in a battle that starts to really wreck the city they're in.
I had some fun with this issue. It read a whole lot better than the previous one, mostly because Patrick Zircher is, I think, starting to settle in with this book and its characters. There's more action than character acting which I think benefited Zircher's layouts and direction. All this resulted in a beautifully smooth book that's coloured by the master Mike Spicer.
Even though I think Zircher is doing a better job with the action, there's some excellent facial work near the end of the issue which is one of the reasons I think Zircher is beginning to settle down so soon after starting his run on the book.
Bits and Pieces:
It's nice to see Dan Abnett let loose and tell a story I haven't ever seen him tell before. It's fun and wacky, and it sure knows it. Zircher's artwork is pretty fantastic knowing Zircher, and Mike Spicer's colours are pretty nice.

I like this book. I don't love it, but for three bucks it's enjoyable enough.
