Tim Drake: Robin #8 couldn't be as bad as the last issue, right? Tim Drake seemed to walk away from people dying in a burning building, got caught in a fire cage (until he wasn't), and then took down Firefly and Phobia while Bernard was upset at his hateful father. That is quite the act to follow! Don't fear, though, because, in this issue, Meghan Fitzmartin gives us ocean motorcycles, ritualistic murderers and kidnappers let out of jail, and a mystery not involving Batwoman suddenly falling out of the sky! Bits and Pieces:
Tim Drake: Robin #8 is another mess of an issue in a series filled with them. Fitzmartin once again neglects any setup, which turns everything in this book into a mystery... except the actual mystery she is trying to tell. There is a laundry list of reasons this book failed, but the biggest one is the writing. Hopefully, DC realizes this and doesn't blame Tim Drake.
