Help Me Suicide Squad.  You're My Only Hope.

Last issue we saw the "new" Suicide Squad escape the mountain that collapsed on top of them, we got some unneeded origins, Deadshot got rid of Warrant but don't bet on him being dead, King Shark and his daddy Kamo started fighting OMAC, who has the mind of the Thinker, and we found out that OMAC's host Kevin Kho is still alive and trapped inside the mighty monster.  So all that happened, let's jump into the next chapter and see if we get some closure on any of these events.

Explain It!:

So the fight is on between OMAC and two generations of shark men.  But it doesn't look like OMAC needs a bigger boat, his boat is just fine.  Outside James Gordon Jr., and Harley witness the Squad making their way back to Belle Reve, which is a pretty funny seen.  Power Girl is actually carrying the plane, and everybody jumps out to join the fight against OMAC, that is everybody except Captain Boomerang, seems he has a thing against heights, and without the benefit of superpowers, or courage he has to take the slow way down with a parachute.

Now the fight is on!  The Squad vs. OMAC, but don't think that this will even up the fight, one after another the Squad falls to the impressive mind and the powerful blows of the Thinker/OMAC.  Hell at one point Thinker/OMAC shoves his fist down King Shark's throat breaking his teeth in the process, and then he pulls out that lady android King Shark ate back in issue #20.  Remember her?  It looks like the most bizarre fatality you've ever seen.  Apparently inside every King Shark is the body of a metal woman.  Think about it.  The fight is so short that by the time Captain Boomerang finally reaches the ground everyone is down.  Thinker/OMAC takes a look at him, Boomerang shits his pants, and that's all.  The monster moves on knowing that Cap can't do anything to stop him.

During the fight Deadshot and Harley make their way into the bowels of Belle Reve looking for what Amanda Waller believes will give them a leg up over Thinker/OMAC.  What could it be you ask.  Well it's very simple.  The big secret weapon is.... magic bullets.  Now it's not what you think, these aren't like smart bullets, that can puncture anything or something cool like that, no.  These are bullets that once in you affect the adrenal gland making you more agile and faster for a short period of time.  A bullet.  Hasn't anyone ever heard of a needle?  So Deadshot does the responsible thing and shoots Harley, and it looks like these are a violent secret weapon because Harley doesn't get back up.  But that's not all, then Deadshot shoots Amanda Waller, and for a finale he aims his gun under his chin and shoots himself in the head.  What the hell?  There must be a simpler way to do this.  Idiots.  That's all for now, so join me next month to find out if the Suicide Squad are dead and Thinker/OMAC wins.

Bits and Pieces:

This is a really fun issue, it's chock full of action and fighting, and actually a lot of laughs.  We're introduced to a new secret weapon to give the Squad an edge over OMAC, and while it maybe ridiculous, I can't wait to see what happens next.  So go check out this issue, and join in on the fun that is Suicide Squad.  While it lasts.

7/10
