As Arnold said in Terminator (and every movie since), "I've returned". That's the beginning of a new character I'm working on, The Misquote Guy. He goes alongside such hits as Pretentious Guy, Comic Store Kid and the Been-There-Done-That Guy. Why am I working on these characters? Maybe I'm insane or maybe "I'm so mad that I refuse to keep taking it!". Actually, I'm getting ready for the Weird Science Podcast. Yes, Eric and myself are eventually going to do a weekly podcast where we will talk comics, tell crazy stories and annoy everyone with our jerk off voices. The reasons we haven't done this yet is we are extremely lazy and have no idea how to do it. In other words, we are stupid. If anyone out there has some tips on how to get started or want to help out, give us a shout. Any and all help would be very appreciated. Enough of my jibber jabber, we are here for the news so "Show me the Cash".On With the News...
Grant Morrison wants to do The Flash?
Yes, Grant Morrison usually gets what Grant Morrison wants. In this case, he's expressed interest in writing a long run of The Flash. I have to admit, I'm not the biggest Grant Morrison fan. My problem is the amount of "stuff" he throws at the reader that never gets resolved. I'm sure I'm going to be accused of being too dim witted to understand the Grant Morrison "layers" and "densities", but I read comics to enjoy myself. I especially read The Flash to enjoy myself. I'm not so sure I want a Morrison Flash. I wouldn't blame DC for going with Morrison, though.
Batman Day Free Poster Revealed
DC revealed the free poster people can grab on July 23rd. It's a timeline poster featuring 42 big events in the Batman timeline and it is awesome. It won't be for sale so make sure you get to your comic shop early.

I apologize again for the small amount of news, but I just report it, I don't make it. Maybe this weeks E3 will have some Batman: Arkham Knight news and/or some new books will be announced (yea right). Just remember, as Ferris Bueller said, "Life is a fast thing and if you don't slow down it will pass you by." Another Week, Another News. Misquote Guy...out!
I think Morrison will do fine with Flash!! He already has a love for the character becuase he wrote him in the past and the flash is a very complex character becuase of his speed force and future complexity, so I think it will be in good hands!!
