DC Comics Announces Grant Morrison's Multiversity Details

I hope this is President Superman
It seems like a century ago when Grant Morrison first talked about his Multiversity comic.  In fact, Eric and myself actually figured it was cancelled before it came out. Well, CBR proved us wrong by announcing it's coming in August and even showed some artwork.

DC and Morrison announced that each issue would be 40 pages in length and feature a who's who of artists such as Chris Sprouse, Frank Quietly, Ivan Reis and Joe Prado.  The last two providing the art for issue #1.

I know Grant Morrison is a polarizing writer with some saying his books have "layers" that need multiple readings to understand while others say he throws tons of ideas at the wall to see what sticks and may or may not follow up on any of them.  I think I'm somewhere in the middle.

I did really like his Action Comics #9 which was...a parallel Earth story featuring President Superman.  I may be crazy, but it was one of my favorite issues from his run.  I know Eric agrees, so there. Wherever you stand, I'm sure this series will be interesting and I can't wait to see the craziness in August, though I'll give it to Eric to review...40 pages is good to read, but bad to review.
