I have enjoyed this arc and I'd take "Neil before Zod" any day...actually, I just wanted to force that joke in because if we are talking the Terence Stamp Zod then all bets are off. I guess I should talk a little about this issue, but the solicit says so much already. Extra-sized conclusion? A new look for Superman? Revealing his identity? A surprise guest-star? That's a whole lot of shakin' going on. My prediction for the guest star? Terra Man.
I don't think john romita's art works for a superman comic...
ReplyDeleteI loved his first issue, but that may have been me getting overly excited for him joining DC. I have been less and less impressed since.
DeleteI'm loving this run and, while I've managed to avoid spoilers re: his new powers (i'm gonna read it tonight), I couldn't help but check out the new costume. Despite a questionable decision or two (i'm not sold on fingerless gloves) Superman's new look is MUCH better than the last one. It has a best of both worlds feel, mixing basic and N52 elements. I'm a big Superman fan and Johns and JRJR have delivered (in my opinion, of course).
