DC Comics Estimated Sales For June 2016

It's time to start CHECKING THE NUMBERS again and see how our big bad Rebirth books are doing for Mr. DC's bank account....... and from the look of things, that dude will be able to buy another rickshaw no problem now.  As per usual, we're only looking at what we consider the "main books" that DC Comics are putting out........ plus the Hanna Barbara books, but this will probably be the last month that I post the estimated sales for those.  With that said, don't go expecting VERTIGO books or collected digital titles to show up here....... because that would be too much work.  So go check out how your favorite books are faring in this brave new world of Rebirth.

9,067
9,168

48. DC Universe Rebirth #1

So while a shit ton of people picked up the 2nd printing of this, it looks like there were a bunch of 1st printings to snag as we see here.

49. Future Quest #1
$3.99
8,129

Yup, more folks jumping on the Quest trolley a little late.

50. Scooby Apocalypse #1
$3.99
7,889

Should I keep talking about the people buying these things late?

51. Justice League #50
$5.99
7,683
71,131

What did people go in late to by the Hanna Barbara books and figure “What the hell, I might as well check out a Justice League #50?”  The book previously sold 92,423

52. Bloodlines #3
$2.99
7,371
8,959

This is a real shame right here.  I know that everyone is on a Rebirth kick and is subconsciously telling all the New 52 books to suck it because of that, but if you haven’t picked up Bloodlines yet, you totally should be it isn’t definitely worth the cover price.

That’s it for the numbers this month and goddamn does it look like nobody gives a shit about anything but Rebirth anymore…….. Which is kind of understandable….. but don’t forget about some of these other books because a handful will bridge into Rebirth issues in the next couple of months.

  1. Sad to see Bloodlines so low, besides that though it's nice to see Rebirth really doing well for DC.

  2. Jim because of your review, you single handedly cut the number of Scooby Apocalypse by 40k. That must be a record somewhere.
