Hawkey is losing his eyesight but he hasn't lost his true superpower and that is to piss people off wherever he goes. Our Arthritic Archer has been going across the Old Man countryside killing those who betrayed the Avengers all while running from a Deathlock augmented Bullseye and a hoard of Venomed out Madroxes. The last issue he had just made it to a refugee camp that is run by Kate Bishop, but he had little time to explain what was chase him before he passed out from his injuries. Something tells me, Kate is not going to welcome Clint “With Arms Wide Opennnnyah.”

We open to Clint having a wet dream about Black Widow. It doesn't get to last long though, because Kate snaps him back to reality. The reality of the situation is not good. Clint is in a hospital bed recovering from injuries that he received from his first battle with the Venom horde.

Kate tells Clint he gets no time to recover because the horde has followed him to her doorstep, and unless he wants to feel responsible for everyone’s death in this refuge he needs to get up and help her defend the city.

At the Whitehouse, Dictator Red Skull tries to find a solution to his rogue Bullseye situation. He decides in order to catch a predator you must use a predator…..Winter is coming.

Back the refuge the two Hawkeye’s battle the Venom horde with flame arrows. With the overwhelming numbers of Madrox Venoms, they decide to change tactics to leading the horde away from the refuge. They hop in Clint’s car to lead the Venoms away.

In order to keep up to the car, the Venoms recombine into three creatures making it that much easier for the Hawkeyes to take them out. The final blow is dealt to the symbiote horde by a T-rex and I have my fingers crossed that we will get to see a Venomized T-rex.

Bits and Pieces:

This comic uses consistently gorgeous, cover quality, art mixed with a fast paced, action heavy, story to keep the reader excited to purchase it every month. If that isn't enough for you to buy this book. Next month promises to reveal the fall of the Avengers!
